The Certified EKG Technician (CET) component of the exam review contains six, online lecture workshop sessions each lasting approximately 1-hour in length. The sessions focus on the cardiovascular system, the use of equipment for electrocardiograms, the leads and lead placement, basic rhythm strip monitoring, artifacts and infection control along with the following topics:
